« Announcing: Michelle Obama's Gardening Book! | Main | If There's An Easy Way to Juice a Pomegranate, I Don't Know What It Is. »

Very cool. Great way to start my day. Thanks for sharing this, Amy.

I am glad the vigilante garden turned out well. But if you contemplate trying this, consider asking for permission first. I know how easy it is to avoid rejection by just leaving it to chance. But some local pop up gardens ended badly. The movement eventually evolved into installing raised beds for people who wanted and would care for them. The gardens were subsidized for low income people. Its been going for a few years now.

I absolutely love this -- next spring you can look for a vigilante garden in Joplin, MO. Thanks for the idea.

Only vigilante gardening around here is pot plants in some farmer's cornfield or woods.

Hi Amy,

Thank you for posting this inspiring video. I have a lot of tomato growing articles and video's on my blog, but this one is very special. I will repost it on my blog, quoting that I found it here.

Thank you

this is so sweet! Thanks for bringing it to our notice--what a great gift.
